In the UAE, Samsung has not officially announced a free screen replacement program for the Galaxy S22 series concerning the green line issue. Users have reported being quoted approximately AED 1,000 for screen replacements, even when the problem appeared after software updates.

What You Can Do:

1. Contact Samsung Support: Reach out to Samsung UAE's customer service to report the issue and inquire about any possible remedies or goodwill programs.

2. Visit an Authorized Service Center: Have your device inspected by professionals to determine the cause of the issue and explore repair options.

3. Document Everything: Keep records of all communications and service reports, which can be helpful if you escalate the matter.

4. Consumer Protection: If you believe the issue is due to a manufacturing defect and are unsatisfied with the response, you may consider filing a complaint with the UAE's consumer protection authorities.

Note: While Samsung India has extended free screen replacements for certain models affected by the green line issue, this program does not currently apply to the UAE.
