Green and Pink line appear on Galaxy S22 plus.

I updated software on Oct 30,2024.

On Oct 31,2024 I observed a light green line and the following day (01 Nov,2024) Pink line came right next to the green line.

"I also observed that green line disappears sometimes and it appears again"

I visited service center and they mentioned the cost for screen replacement is 16,500 .

They also assured the issue will no ever reappear again once the screen replacement is done.

I purchased the phone in October 2022.

Nope, samsung has a few phones for free display replacement policy. If you are lucky then your phone will be covered in that policy, else you have to pay for it no matter how good the condition of the phone is.

Remember green/pink line issues are coming today in all companies phones.. so important thing is we need to take care of display while updting the software. To do that, Keep your phone in very cool place while updating it.

Now can't do anything. Free replacement is available for under warrenty phones and S21 fe only. You have to pay for diaplay change or you can wait till samsung take any decision for S22 series. But not sure it will be or not. My S22 plus was 2 years old so i sold it before green lines come.
