Galaxy S1. Back up your data.
Just in case your device needs to be reset or replaced.
2. Visit a Samsung Authorized Service Center ASAP.
Be firm but polite.
Mention it's a known AMOLED defect, not caused by misuse.
Point out that Samsung has been replacing screens free of cost for other users — even out of warranty.
Ask for a "One-Time Free Repair" (Samsung uses this term).
3. Bring proof of purchase (if you have it) to strengthen your case.
