Just woke up to find a green line running down my Galaxy S23 screen — no drops, no damage, phone is in mint condition. What’s going on?

I’ve seen this happening on older models and Samsung offered free screen replacements for those. Is the same being done for the S23? This is supposed to be a flagship device, and issues like this really break trust.

What You Should Do Now

1. Back up your data.

Just in case your device needs to be reset or replaced.

2. Visit a Samsung Authorized Service Center ASAP.

Be firm but polite.

Mention it's a known AMOLED defect, not caused by misuse.

Point out that Samsung has been replacing screens free of cost for other users — even out of warranty.

Ask for a "One-Time Free Repair" (Samsung uses this term).

3. Bring proof of purchase (if you have it) to strengthen your case.
