Gpay not locking s23 ultra

I use gpay and have set screen lock while opening the app but ones i unlock the app ysing my fingerprint it dosent lock again and shows a prompt saying lock skipped as you just unlocked your device any fix for this issue?

Yes. This issue is there when we use fingerprint unlock

Use 4 digit google pin instead of default screen lock as seen in screenshot

Yes every time i open gpay directly i see the contacts but sometimes i am confused that i use other payments apps like paytm phonepe and whenever i opened these apps everytime it asks for fingerprint or pin but why not Gpay
I think this problem is with Gpay
Google has to fix this

Read online that if you have opened gpay ones for the next 30 secs gpay will automatically skip the lock

It's based on screen unlock time, if you unlock the app and closed it then after using your phone for about 5-10 min and then you try to open the app it will ask for finger password
