Google maps on now bar issue

Mine is galaxy s24 just now updated one UI8 with android 16 . Can anyone tell me how to enable google maps on NOWBAR the nowbar setting for google maps is on but when i start a navigation and lock my phone its not showing

I went to the service centre and the service guy showed that his fold 7 also misses the feature..he said maybe they'll roll out in India gradually or with oneui8.5
