Gif Maker removed from Edge Panels and S-Pen menu

Every single Samsung update these days is a downgrade. I'm a content creator, and used the GIF creator option in Smart Select from the Edge Panels and S-Pen menu every single day to create GIFs from YouTube and other social media platforms. Now I see that Samsung has entirely removed that option, and you can only make GIFs now from videos in your gallery. The new Smart Select feature is totally useless. 

Why do you keep disappointing customers like this, Samsung? Why do you insist upon removing features that users actually love and use? Stop pushing your AI BS onto us; no one wants it. Bring back the custom GIF creator on Smart Select ASAP!

 It was brought back with the Capture app update.

I don't have a Capture option available on my devices. I only see the Smart Select app, which only takes screenshots. There is no option for GIF creation. Which update was this Capture app part of?

Nope, does not work for me. I'm stuck without a native GIF maker until Samsung decides to release an update. Very disappointing.

Nope, not available under System Apps on any of my devices. It has probably only been released for S24.

Gif maker option in smart select is under development. Samsung said that they will introduce their updated version coming soon 🙏

I don't understand what's 'under development' when all Smart Select features worked flawlessly before. They should have released new features, if any, as incremental updates, and instead they go ahead and just eliminate the option for everyone We are now left hanging until Samsung decides to have mercy on us. Seriously bad move.

It is available now. It was under development before to work fluently with new smart select with ai and support for upcoming android 15🙏
