Avoid using rugged cases, check background processes. My suggestion- use phone without cover. Within a cover phone struggles to search for network in background hence could lead to battery drain and heating.
Yes even my s21 ultra started heating too much in last 15-20days. I mean you literally can't play games that's how bad the situation is. Service centre is advising me to get battery changed but diagnostics says otherwise. I'm pretty sure samsung did it on purpose to make us switch to new s24 series by pushing update.
do the following screen resolution should be hd+ refresh rate should be in standard put dark mode battery saver on close and clear all the apps if u can use in ac room if it gets heat keep the phone on the wet cloth if it gets heat avoid to use phone otherwise chances are there to change the battery... avoid to use in outside when summer season being a [high value) flagship phone user please protect the phone and avoid to upgrade..
