As seen in the screen shot the NTFS formated drive is connected to the phone which shows the error of not being able to write anything from phone to drive or drive to phone and it's really disappointing that such a flagship of samsung is not able to perform such minor tasks. Similar issue is also found in the Galaxy note 10 devices or rather samsung's flagship devices running on android 12.

This is not S22 Ultra problem.

I don't get any error like that.

As you can see, I connected my 2TB SanDisk Extreme which has 8 partitions, 4 of which are NTFS formatted with Windows installed on 2 of them. Stock file manager can only read 5 of these as you see in the 1st picture because some of the partitions are hidden.

I can copy files from my NTFS formatted disk to my phone using any file manager. However, to write to an NTFS formatted disk, you need this app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.paragon.tcplugins_ntfs_ro

-
Then use X-Plore File Manager or Total Commander to write to NTFS formatted disks, after allowing the required permissions:

If it works (there is no reason why it wouldn't), please mark the answer as solution so it can help others.

Yes it's pretty working that way but not the simplest way as when FAT32 formated drives are connected and are operated. So basically it's the issue of may be software which samsung can resolve through OTA update.

You need this only for NTFS file systems. FAT32 and ex-FAT formatted disks don't need this. Android should be able to read and write natively without 3rd party app support.

You can Read NTFS Files on S22 Ultra and Transfer Files From NTFS Drive to S22 Ultra but You can't Transfer Phone Data To NTFS Drive.

You can write to NTFS disk from an Android device. Solution is posted above.

Again, none of this has anything to do with S22 Ultra. This isn't about device or brand. This is how Android File System works, just as you can't write to NTFS from macOS without 3rd party app support.
