I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra recently. I'm disappointed that the device does not support USB-C-to-3.5mm adapters which work on prior Samsung devices such as the S21 and Tab S6. The 'Default USB configuration' toggle under Developer Options keeps turning itself off despite repeatedly toggling it on, and the device does not detect the adapter and the earphones.

Users are charged such premium prices for this phone, only to have such basic and important features taken away. Samsung does not even bother to provide a headphone jack, or a dongle, or even a charger in the box. Highly frustrating. 😡

Good to hear that. However, one should be allowed to use any accessory they want and not be forced to keep buying more and more gadgets, especially when the accessories work on other Samsung devices. Samsung has become another Apple, removing features and forcing customers to keep spending money on their own products and accessories. Their greed knows no bounds. 😔

Found out the hard way, after transferring everything from my Huawei mate 20 pro to my new s22, a 4 year old phone, to my new s22+. I did not expect ANY issues at all. First the Bluetooth codec does not support high quality for wireless headphones as the Huawei did, and then I try 2 HD usb c to 3.5 adapters and both say they don't work. So now I have perfectly good Sennheiser headphones which I can't use to their full potential. Really bad start with Samsung tbh

I was able to figure out a solution to this problem, step #1 turn on developer options, if you are unaware of how to do so Google it. Step #2 scroll down to the media option section and turn off DISABLE USB AUDIO ROUTING!!! That's it simple as that as soon as I turned it off my adapter worked on my Sennheiser headphones
