The Galaxy S21 Ultra was perfectly fine till 5:30 today when I installed the OneUI 6.0 April Patch Update. While installing it , it got a green line issue. And that line continues to become more and more green. There is no hardware damage on the phone , the phone is in mint condition. It occured all of a sudden after an update. Samsung really needs to do better.

While update first came

Fixes I tried:-
1) Restart phone
2) Clear Cache
3) Run Good Guardians optimization
4) Safe Mode restart

To no avail. Will backup data and contact Samsung service centre

You think that it's an upgrade issue.

But actually due to overheating your display is damaged.

Now the only solution is to replace the display.

Heating occured while upgrading is damaged your valuable phone.

Remember:

Don't upgrade quickly.
Just wait for the right time, cool time or use AC Full, or prefer mid night time, then sleep, don't use phone for 4 hours after updating.

Keep phone in ✈️ mode+battery saver mode while upgrading.

Thanks.

If you like my solution then accept it.

I have the same issue on my s21 ultra.
My device front glass right corner was broken into one year ago, but there was no issue for usage. And no damage on display. Recently, the April patch update has made a green line into my device left side of the display.
Any hope ?
