Galaxy S20 Heating issue

Hello fellow Indians and disappointed S20 exynos users, 

I want to ask if the heating issue in persisting for all of you or is it me?  Even if I am watching a video for 15 mins or taking a call, it gets heated up. The temperature of battery reaches 40C. Heard that the issue got resolved after the software update. But not for me.

Any thoughts, suggestions, solutions?

maybe they will resolve with one ui 3 in their upcoming update

the main issue is when it heats up and exceeds above 40°c the refresh rate drops to 60hz.
but in settings under display u will find it locked at 120hz only.

Heating issue is normal these days in Samsung devices .

Whenever the battery temperature goes above say 40°C & when the battery level drops down to 5% or lower. This can switch to 60 Hz.
It will also happen when certain apps are launched, such as the camera or Google Maps or using the phone on high brightness .
Such apps eats up a lot of battery power in general, so it’s not surprising that Samsung is making sure that the smooth and quick 120 Hz refresh rate won’t be active when those apps are being used and when temp. is going up by some certain it will switch to 60 hz.

Samsung will resolve this issue in coming software updates .
