Due to software update in July in my Samsung s21 FE green line issue occurs..I am facing this issue from last week.. On 20th August I visited service centre. Today I got from service centre and told me that your phone is not passed in water resistance test and because of that I have to pay nearly 13,500 rupees if I want to change my display.
This is ridiculous I have problem because of your update not because of my fault.
And My phone is 22 months that's almost 2 Years old then how can Samsung expect that it's like new, I don't know how water resistance test done but THIS ISSUE COME BECAUSE OF SAMSUNG`S UPDATE BEFORE THAT I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM IN MY PHONE.
"THE WATER RESISTANCE OF GALAXY PHONES IS NOT PERMANENT AND MAY BE NATURALLY WEAKENED OVER TIME." This is on Samsung's WEBSITE.
So,Samsung have to change mobile display free of cost.

That's I don't know they just call me and said your phone is not passed in water resistance test and as per policy you have to pay for screen replacement , But Samsung's WEBSITE show that water resistance is not permanent and it's naturally weakened over timeIMG-20240821-WA0004_1000075364_1724230598.jpg

Are you all MAD or what Samsung team,
Screen line issue comes because of your update not because of our fault and my phone is 22 months old so water resistance may be naturally weakened I don't have any problem in that I was happy with my mobile but because of your faulty update my screen damaged and this faults is Samsung's FAULT not customer's FAULT. So, you have to change it for free you don't have rights to ask Money of your fault.
"OnePlus mobiles have same problem and they are changing screen without any questions" and you Samsung's team just looting money on your fault from customers.
If you don't replace my screen then I'm going to change my mobile because 13,500 Rupees are very high for just screen and "I will make sure that in future in my family and relatives no one BUY SAMSUNG'S products for sure".

For your information, I want to make one thing clear: no phone is water-resistant after usage of 18 to 24 months. Samsung guidelines also contain this information. In order to make it water-resistant again, the glue part must be replaced. It's disgusting that we have to pay a significant amount for these phones.
But another thing is that Samsung cannot reject your claim just from that your phone does not pass the water test. As I already mentioned above.
I just want to share my case with you.
My S21 ultra phone has been around for 3 years and 6 months. I never dropped, scratched and updated my phone but still a green line suddenly appears on my phone screen. I complained Samsung about this issue multiple times, but in the end Samsung wants a quality check on my phone which was a water test which you have talked about in your case. Despite my phone failing in the test, they still gave me a free replacement for my S21 ultra screen because of a green line issue. I just paid the GST and labour charges to Samsung, which is approximately Rs 3800.
In addition to this i also want to tell here that write an email to the CEO desk, which is available on the Samsung website in the support section, and include your entire case in that email. You will receive a call from their end. But you just have to note one point: you should not agree to their points that the screen should not be replaced free of cost as it is a manufacturing defect. In addition, you must write an email to the CEO's desk multiple times until they decline your claim.
I also wrote emails three times to the CEO's desk and also to the service head. I reached out to the Samsung support center and created a forum for my case in the Samsung member app, but no one accepted my claim. In the end, I sent a fourth email to Samsung's CEO's desk, and they acknowledged my claim. The whole process took me 25 days to replace my screen without any cost.
