Hey Guys,

Samsung has extended free screen and free battery replacement for below eligible devices affected with Green Line or other Colour Line:) on Screen.

  • S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE
  • S22 Ultra

S22+ users need to raise the issue more so that Samsung will extend to S22+ as well. Initially, S21 FE wasn't part of it but later added due to user reportings

I did report the problem to service centre and they told its an hardware damage and only way to report it to Samsung is through a job sheet and for them to open up phone and check, it would take 3 working days and that too if we convince the customer care to do so. I asked them if there are any ways like email to report this issue and resolve it sooner than make it a bigger inconvenience for us but they said it's the only way. They said the device would only get worse after they opened it and said the customer care would surely say it's an hardware issue and they can't provide assistance with you so don't bother trying it. My phone was fallen only 5 times in 21 months of it's lifetime and it has minor damages on the frames and they say it's a major damage. The damage they point to as the major damage happened months before the green line issue which showed up after an update. So how do we let Samsung know this, customer care requires job sheet but the service centres are making us hopeless and says we'll have to wait for days and yet they won't resolve it unbiased. There was a youtube video where a guy exchanged conversation for months with Samsung only to replace his screen with money. We are kinda pushed to a hopeless situation only wait for Samsung to notice it. Literally everyday one member posts about this in the members app and the moderators aren't reporting it to Samsung.
