Issue with Fingerprint Sensor after Overnight Battery Drain – Samsung S21 FE
Last night my Galaxy S21 FE was at around 60% battery when I went to sleep. By morning, the battery had fully drained, and the phone would not power on. I had already turned off everything and closed all apps before sleeping, so this was unusual.
When I plugged in the charger in the morning, the phone powered on at 1% battery. However, I noticed that the fingerprint sensor had stopped working. When I went into settings to set it up again, it showed an error message advising me to visit a service centre.
At the Samsung Service Centre, they attempted to calibrate the fingerprint sensor, but the process kept getting stuck. They told me the only option is to perform a full software installation, which would erase all my data. Since I didn’t want to lose my data, I came back without proceeding.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Is there any way to fix the fingerprint sensor without losing all data.

As you have already visited the service center and they provided you with information after inspecting the device, we would like to suggest that you take a backup of your device data. Once you have done so, please visit the service center where your product was previously serviced. They will be able to provide you with all the information you need in a more effective manner.
