Click the icons there to get details from taskbar

Eg
Clock - to open clock app or popup showing today's reminders if any. 
Date: popup showing calender for the month in like a 3x3 grid.
Network icon - to access a toggle between 2 o 3 o 4 o 5G
Battery icon- to open small 3x3 popup with battery stats (how much time left, sot etc
