Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Rich Communication Services (RCS) chats offer an enhanced traditional SMS and MMS messaging experience.

1. RCS chats provide an improved messaging experience.
2. Features include seeing when someone is typing, reading receipts, sending messages over mobile data/Wi-Fi, and file sharing.
3. RCS chats require all participants to have RCS enabled and are provided by either Google or the user's mobile carrier.

Follow the below steps to enable the RSC message.
Step 1: Run your Android Message app and tap on the More Options icon.
Step 2: Tap on “Settings” and, on the new screen, select the “Chat features” option.
Step 3: Tap on “Enable chat features” and select the “RCS” option.

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.)

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
