Galaxy SI would like to highlight an issue that affects the overall user experience while listening to music on Samsung devices.
Currently, notification sounds play at full volume even when music is actively playing, which disrupts the listening experience and breaks the immersion. This becomes particularly frustrating when using headphones or speakers, as notifications abruptly interfere with the audio.
While Modes and Routines offer a workaround, relying on them feels like an indirect solution rather than a seamless system-level optimization.
I would suggest implementing a built-in System UI enhancement where notification sounds are either:
- Automatically lowered in volume while music is playing, or
- Temporarily muted, or
- Replaced with subtle haptic feedback
This would ensure a smoother, uninterrupted audio experience without requiring users to manually configure additional settings.
A native solution within the system would significantly improve usability and align with the premium experience Samsung aims to deliver.
Looking forward to seeing improvements in future updates.
