📌 Feature Request: Advanced Per-App Notification Controls (Like OnePlus)

Hello Samsung Team,

I’m a Samsung user and I would like to request an important improvement for One UI notification settings.

OnePlus devices provide very advanced per-app notification controls. For every app, they show all notification channels clearly (weather, alerts, ads, stories, updates, sports, search, etc.) and allow users to individually turn off unwanted notifications such as ads and promotional alerts. They also allow separate control for “Important” and “Other” notifications, sound, vibration, lock screen visibility, and banner style for each channel.

I request Samsung to add similar advanced notification channel controls in One UI, so users can:

• Turn off advertising or promotional notifications

• Disable only unwanted channels without blocking the entire app

• Separate Important vs Other notifications

• Control sound, vibration, lock-screen, banners, and silent mode for each channel

• View all notification channels in one simple list, just like OnePlus OxygenOS

This will help users reduce spam, stay focused, and keep only helpful notifications. It will greatly improve the user experience on Samsung devices.

Please consider adding this feature in future One UI updates. Thank you for listening to user feedback.

I am requesting Samsung to add advanced per-app notification channel controls similar to OnePlus.
These screenshots show how OnePlus clearly displays all notification categories for each app (weather, alerts, ads, updates, stories, etc.) and allows users to individually turn ON/OFF each one.
This helps users:
• Disable promotional or unwanted notifications
• Keep only important alerts
• Control sound, vibration, banners, and lock-screen behavior for each channel
• Reduce spam and stay focused
• Manage notifications more efficiently
Please add similar detailed notification settings in One UI. It will greatly improve user experience and give better control over notifications.

Hey i got certain update and i unknowingly accepted it now samsung is installing unwarranted apps into my device and i cannot see the option too undo that could anyone kindly help!!!! This is like highjacking my device!!!
