Fast charging does not work on S7 edge

Fast charging doesn't work always. It shows 'Fast charging' but doesn't charge fast. I tried with a new original Adaptive Fast Charger, still doesn't work.

Not just cable, I bought a new charger.

see sometime charger is not responsible all the time try changing the cable even I had too faced this problem in a5 2017 which was my previous model and this problem was also continued on my s9 so I changed the cable first time I thought that it is problem of my phone better later on I switched to micro usb using the type c otg it worked

Thanks mate! It works. Interchanged my 6 months old charger brick with the 2 days old brick's cable. I don't get the logic but works :)

Right. I wonder why the new charger didn't work too! But anyway I interchanged the old one with the newly bought charger's cable. It worked. Thank you :)

try in cold temperature
using fast charger causes warm
and now in India hot climate
so if you are in ac or cooler then plug and charge it will charge faster

*try in safe mode..**Also enable fast charging under battery settings. Read the charger if it states Fast charger.
