Failed to update Google play service

Hi

Anyone else facing this issue? Been trying since past 2 days. Update starts, reaches 2% and then the error. Currently on 23U, One UI7.

Have tried clearing cache, clear data, uninstall, reinstall of Google Play store and Google Play services, but nothing works. Tried also with charger plugged in, with WIFI and 5G.

Appreciate if any tips.

Thanks....Did that too today morning, clearing cache partition..didnt help...

This is a workaround that has worked for many:

1. Go to Settings > About phone > Software information.


2. Tap "Build number" 7 times to enable Developer Options.


3. Go back to Settings > Developer Options.


4. Find "Google Play system update" and tap it manually.


5. Try updating from there.

Thanks a lot...ill also keep trying workarounds and update when I find the solution...(forgot to mention that had tried loading in safe mode n do all above steps, also tried killing all Google play services and then update....no luck). Tnx again 🙏

Mine 17% ..after that failed to update
