I have noticed that the Samsung tag feature is not working for new pictures taken with the S24 Ultra, as reported by another user online. I would like to understand the reason behind this issue and explore potential solutions to resolve it.

Additionally, I have been experiencing a lack of certain features and smoothness in the overall performance compared to my S23 Ultra. I would appreciate assistance in addressing these concerns to enhance my user experience.

To troubleshoot and potentially resolve this problem, you can follow these steps:

1. Ensure Face Detection is Enabled
2. Restart the Device
3. Update the Software
4.Clear Camera App Cache: To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage > Clear Cache.
5. Check Storage Permissions: Make sure the camera app has the necessary permissions to access storage. Without proper permissions, the face tagging feature may not work correctly. Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Permissions and ensure that storage permission is enabled.
6. Test in Safe Mode: Boot your device into safe mode to see if a third-party app is causing interference with the camera's functionality. If face tagging works in safe mode, then a third-party app may be the culprit. You can uninstall recently installed apps to identify the problematic one.

Please recheck this issue with the following guide.
1.It is recommended to try facial recognition under bright lighting.
2.If you want better performance in low light, please change the wallpaper to a brighter color.
3.Please move your position slightly if some lighting exists above or behind you.
4.Please wipe the front camera lens.
5.Please lift your device more to put your face in the center of camera field of view with proper distance.
