Galaxy S5g consume high data volume so its very common and no need to worry.
I will suggest to save battery and for long phone life , use phone in 4g as much as possible.
Use 5g only when doing bookings, bank transactions and while viewing 4k videos.
Phone in order to save battery automatically downgrades from 5g to 4g specially in sun light.
