I am unable share files from my S20+ using wifi direct to others. Fortunately, my S20+ can receive data from others through wigi direct.

Try Resetting the network settings.

Until the problem is not solved u can use nearby share or quick share..

it is removed in one ui 3.0

after ONE UI3.0, it has been removed. now u can only recieve files via direct share. this was clearly stated in the update changelog

I think wifi direct is not available with android11/UI3.0

just once reset network,
go to settings >general management >reset >reset network
