Galaxy SAs you said, this issue is post updating your device to One UI 6.0, so after every update, it is always recommended to wipe your cache partition through recovery mode. Because by doing this, you solves most of the issues.

Galaxy SWe recommend the steps below to Clear App Cache and Data for WhatsApp:
- Go to your device's Settings.
- Select ""Apps"" or ""Applications Manager.""
- Find and tap on ""WhatsApp Dual.""
- Tap on ""Storage.""
- Select ""Clear Cache"" and ""Clear Data.""
