Dual whatsapp have issues after one ui 6.0 update. There is no "always" when you click on any link/document/location, anything you open. You have to select all over again which app you want it to open, just once is available, but "always" is greyed out.

Similarly if i open s pen, s pen commands also don't work on dual whatsapp. Does anyone have similar experience or know how to fix it. I am attaching a screenshot of one the problems.

Where is the option for "always", this is one of many issues with dual whatsapp since one ui 6.0 update.

Hi,
Try clearing cache partition through by booting device into recovery. It should solve your problem.

You mean to safe mode? Also clear cache of which application? Dual whatsapp or something else. I am not sure if "open with" is a seperate application under samsung apps

No safe mode. No app's cache.

As you said, this issue is post updating your device to One UI 6.0, so after every update, it is always recommended to wipe your cache partition through recovery mode. Because by doing this, you solves most of the issues.

If you don't know how to boot your device into recovery mode then you can check youtube videos.

- Find and tap on ""WhatsApp Dual.""

Will clear data not take away all of the account settings and i will have to restore everything from scratch?

Also i did clear cache, no change. But I cannot clear data, it doesn't make any sense. This is clearly the fault from the update to one ui 6.0, so why are you asking me to contact whatsapp? There is no issue with whatsapp, what doesn't work is when you try to open any document, the open with "always" is greyed out (btw, there is a long thread with the same issue in reddit, so it is not just me who have this problem) and s pen features on top of whatsapp dual.
