Galaxy SSamsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Hello. I hope you're all well. I have an issue with WhatsApp and I hope I can find some help here. I've recently got a Samsung S24 Ultra and would like to restore my WhatsApp data from my old phone in which I have two phone numbers and two WhatsApp accounts, in dual apps, one for each number, to my new phone. Both accounts are backed up with two different google accounts. I would like to have the same setup in my new phone. So I downloaded WhatsApp, cloned it with the integrated dual app feature, and restored my data without any issue in the original WhatsApp. Now, when I try to do it with the cloned WhatsApp, it can't find any Google account to restore the data from. Please see the screenshots I have included. All permissions are already granted for the cloned WhatsApp app, but it is still asking me to grant permissions. And when I do it, it doesn't find my google account. Everything works fine in the original WhatsApp, but I have issues with the cloned one. I have tried with another phone, not a Samsung one, to recreate the same setup and it works fine without any issues. What can I do to restore my data? What is the issue?
Thank you in advance for the help.
TLDR: I can't restore my backed up data in the dual/clone WhatsApp app in my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra while it works fine in the original one.
