Galaxy SI have two SIM cards, both of which support a 5G network. For the past 10-12 days, whenever I select one SIM for data, the other becomes unavailable, showing an 'Emergency calls only' or 'No service' error. As soon as I enable data on the impacted SIM, it regains full network coverage, but then the other SIM experiences the same issue. I have already swapped the SIM cards into a different make and model of a smartphone, and there are no problems at all. Could you please help and guide me? Also dual sim always on feature also not getting enabled

Galaxy SDear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your query, we want to inform you that Samsung introduced a new version of Dual SIM technology called Smart Dual SIM which means the device with this feature will have the following quality while the user connects two GSM SIM cards simultaneously :
● There is an option of making one of the card's primary which would act like a Master SIM card, and the other one as secondary.
● When the user is busy using SIM1, SIM2 will not work until Call Divert is turned on by the Mobile Network operator.
● If the user is using SIM2 as modem for connecting Internet then SIM1 can be used to take calls and that is why the user should select SIM1 carefully as it acts as the primary number.
For activate Smart Dual SIM: Smart Dual SIM enables a call waiting on both the SIM cards. It even enables the call forwarding on both the numbers. So, if one of the numbers is out of reach, the incoming calls will be forwarded to other numbers.
Please follow the below steps: Settings>Connections> SIM card manager>Smart dual SIM> Tap OK on Pop up>Enter Phone numbers and tap on OK>Select SIM card and tap on Done.
SIM card cannot be detected: If SIM card cannot be detected.
Please follow the below steps:
1: You can try to restart your phone
2: First, we need to determine whether the error is with the SIM card or the SIM card slot.
You will need to prepare either another phone or another SIM card to perform for this. Either one of the device will determine the possibility of the issue.
1- Existing SIM card with another phone.
If Detectable, Possible, the existing phone's SIM Slot may be faulty. Please send it to the nearest service centre.
If not Detectable, Possible, that the SIM card is faulty. Please refer to the Telco provider.
2-Existing phone with new SIM Card
If Detectable, the SIM slot is not faulty. This may be caused by an existing SIM card faulty. Please refer to the Telco provider.
If not Detectable, Possible, the existing phone's SIM slot may be faulty. Please send to nearest service centre.
Note.
1: Please restart the phone after changing the SIM card to allow the system to detect.
2: Kindly ensure both testing devices function well before testing.
● Kindly contact your network service provider once to make sure there is no issue from their end.
In case the issue still occurs, kindly visit the service centre for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service centre with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
