Purchased new S23 phone recently, inserted 2 SIM cards in it, the first one was identified in SIM manager but the second one shows as "Unknown" same status under "About Phone".
I'm able to receive calls and messages on this 2nd number, but not able to turn the feature of dual sim on.

Appreciate your inputs.

But isn't it like restricting the functionality of the phone? Dual sim always on is used to receive calls one one sim while talking on another. I'm using Jio as first Sim and BSNL as second.

@On_Galaxy Thanks for your response. I was able to enable the dual sim always on ny manually entering the phone numbers with country code, the sim manager still reads as "unknown". will do a quick test and see whether it works.
