Following the December firmware update from Samsung, which included the Autoblocker feature, numerous users of all three S23 models (S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra) are reporting significant battery drain. This constitutes a critical issue requiring immediate attention and resolution via a subsequent software update from Samsung.

After the UI 6.1.1 update, the camera zoom blur issue remains unsolved. Therefore, I doubt the battery drain issue will suddenly be resolved by Samsung. The upcoming UI 7 stable release will likely also be affected by battery drain.

The Samsung Galaxy S23's battery draining quickly can be caused by several factors. Let's explore some possible reasons and solutions.

Checking Battery Usage and Health
First, check which apps are consuming the most power. Go to *Settings* > *Device Care* > *Battery* to see the list of used apps sorted by date and consumption.

Optimizing Battery Performance
To extend battery life, consider the following tweaks:

- *Close Background Apps*: Regularly close apps running in the background to prevent unnecessary power consumption.
- *Put Apps to Sleep*: Enable the "Put app to sleep" feature to immediately close apps when not in use.
- *Enable Adaptive Battery*: Activate adaptive battery to learn your phone's usage patterns and optimize battery life.
- *Reduce Screen Brightness*: Lower screen brightness or enable adaptive brightness to conserve power.
- *Turn Off Always-on Display*: Disable always-on display to prevent unnecessary power consumption.
- *Set Screen Timeout*: Set screen timeout to 15 or 30 seconds to reduce power consumption.

Additional Tips
- *Update Software*: Ensure your device is running the latest software, as updates often include battery life improvements.
- *Disable Unused Services*: Turn off services like Bluetooth, GPS, and mobile data when not in use.
- *Use Power Saving Mode*: Enable power-saving mode to limit CPU performance, reduce screen brightness, and turn off unnecessary features.

By implementing these tweaks and best practices, you should be able to improve your Samsung Galaxy S23's battery life.

Brother try keeping the device on light performance profile. It will give good battery backup and your device's performance will remain unaffected. I'm also using Galaxy S23 but i didn't face any such issue. Hope your problem gets solved.
