Dark mode problem

I recently got a Samsung S23 smartphone and turned on dark mode. But the screen didn't get completely dark. It was more like a dark gray, and it didn't turn off all the pixels on the screen. 😒

On the other hand, when I tried dark mode on my old phone in a pitch-black room, the screen went completely black. All the pixels on the screen turned off, and it saved a lot of battery life. 👍

So, I'm wondering why there's this difference. Why doesn't Samsung's dark mode make the screen completely black? 🤔 It could save even more battery life if it did. 💡

if you have like 2nd ss (see background). Then it's just like this after the oneui 6 update .
3rd ss . This was pitch black before oneui 6
Anyway, you can change these with goodlock module themepark. But you need to get help from youtube to use it because it is little complicated.

Non of them . see this screen shot in dark room you can see what I am talking about I think it is a bug in dark mode
