I used my s23 for random photo and video shooting. That day camera app got freezed and whole screen went black. Then lock screen came and camera app didn't worked. 

After few moments I checked my captured media, I noticed that video is lagging and not playable. 

Cleared data of camera app, gallery app, and default video player and still didn't worked. 

Now there is delay between click the video button and video start playing.

So, talking to chatgpt, I found out when I move the video from default folder to another folder, the video issue is gone and playing smoothly in every app.

So the location having some issue. 

What to do ?

Can't go recovery mode to wipe partition, it says pdp failed. Chatgpt says this happening cause corrupted system issue.

So I downloaded google files app and that app can play everything fine. Like everything normal.

And also, I check samsung secure folder there default gallery app is having same problem of playing video.

I guess it's the app issue, I don't know why it can play video from other location fluently but not from default location.

Also, I saw most people having problem with recovery mode. They are facing same issue.

This device is under warranty and I'm little overthinking about it. Cause I have many personal files and data, and as this is about camera and gallery app, I'm overthinking about safety and security. As I can't see what they do with the phone once they get the device in their hand.

I changed DCIM folder name and everything is fine in that folder. Every video is playing smoothly.

But then new DCIM folder created by default and new recorded video having issue. But moving the file solve the issue.

What is wrong with DCIM name ?

Open smart switch app, click on cloud icon top right.

Backup your data to Samsung cloud, it's unlimited & free. Or connect a usb drive and backup All data.

Backup your WhatsApp to Google drive.

Factory reset & erase all data.

Restore from cloud/usb drive.
