Galaxy SHello folks,
I’m using the S25 Ultra and I’ve noticed that there are three Samsung apps that occupy close to 13GB on my phone:
- AICore - 7.7GB
- Samsung Language Core - 3.3GB
- Samsung Vision Model - 1.75GB
I have a few questions regarding this:
- What do these apps do, and what is their importance or purpose?
- Why do these apps need so much storage?
- I have noticed the storage usage increasing over time. Will it eventually take up all my storage?
- What will I lose by clearing the data for these apps?
- Are there any ways to reduce or limit the storage usage of these apps without losing important data?
- Is there a way to prevent these apps from taking up so much space in the future?
Thank you for your insights!

Galaxy SDear Samsung Member,
Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!
As per your concern, we wanted to provide you with some information regarding the “app data” storage category on your devices. This storage category comprises various data associated with the apps you have installed on your smartphone or tablet, including system files, cached data, and temporary files that do not fit into any other storage categories.
It’s important to note that the data in the “app data” storage category cannot be deleted directly from your device. However, you do have the option to clear some of this data by deleting the cache or the app data for specific applications. Please keep in mind that this action will only limit the data temporarily, as new data will be generated when you access the application again.
If you have any further questions or need assistance regarding this matter, feel free to reach out.
Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
