Cant use 5g in s20fe using jio sim

Anybody able to use 5g using jio simin s20fe5g. When i try to check compatibility check using jio app, its says phone is not compatible and twitter handle of jio says software upgradation is required from samsung side to activate true 5g.

If you received December 22 security patch. Then can use Jio5G network if Jio5G network availability in your area. Or mid-January mostly 5g devices will receive Jio5G update.

Why making fools to community, 5G update to enable JIO SA bands is still pending.

1. At jio 5g database s20fe 5g is not listed.

2. Till date s20fe 5g phones not getting jio 5g welcome offer. 

4. I have Onepls nord 2 5g with jio Sim and 2 months back , I have received jio 5g welcome offer and jio 5g service is activated on same, I have checked using jio 5g activated Sim with my s20fe5g and found 5g is working on s20fe5g.

3. Solution: just insurt your jio Sim card in any other 5g phone, in my case Onepls nord 2 5g and login to jio app around 48hr jio recognize your Sim and send welcome offer accept it , now you Sim is 5g enabled. 

4. Now reinsert your jio 5g enabled Sim in s20fe5g and enjoy 5g network. 


Samsung team should communicate with jio to include it's 5g phone to jio 5g database.


Currently s20fe5g users have only two options 1. Wait for samsung/jio for update 2. Follow point 3 using your family members or friends phone.
