Hi,

I can't enter recovery mode on my Galaxy S20 FE 5G. I've tried power + vol up many times, no matter how long I hold the buttons, still boots up into normal mode.

Android 11, OneUI 3.0

I got Android11 OneUI 3 installed on my brand new S20FE yesterday and can't enter the recovery through either of the proposed routes.

Reason why I'm trying to get into recovery mode is, that my phone goes into constant reboot loop (even in Safe Mode) when I connect it (via cable) to the Sync4A system of my new Ford Mustang Mach-E. Just got the phone because it enables wireless Android Auto but can't even connect it to the system because it crashes once plugged and goes into repoot loop.

There's a lot of problems going on with android auto as like frequent crashing.. I personally feel that it's not device fault either. The problem lies in the android auto which may be resolved in the future updates.

And for the issue relating to recovery, most users were able to get access into recovery mode by this method itself. U need a active USB-C connection which is connected to a power source preferably a computer to get onto recovery mode. If u aren't satisfied, do check xda developers website for some clear cut answers

Your solution is incorrect. Plugging your device into a power source will NOT work. You need to plug it into your headphones for the process to work. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S20+ in 2022 and that is the only way to enter recovery mode.

None of this works for me - nothing i've found on youtube, here or anywhere else on the net allows me into my recovery mode on my S20 FE 5g version. I even bought a set of USB C headphones specifically for this task as no amount of plugging into my laptop worked either. Now the USB c Headphones don't either. I'm trying to get in because my OTHER files have taken ALL of my memory and i can no longer use the phone after less than a year of ownership - it's useless...........I've cleared Cache, got very few Apps, no photos (as it won't allow me to take them!). Someone must surely know a better way? Please help!!!!
