I have noticed a bug in camera app of samsung S22 plus. In normal photo mode when i switch from 1x to 3x lens it is actually using 3x digital zoom of 1x lens instead of switching to 3x lens. This usually happens while taking photos in less bright conditions. I tested this by keeping a finger on 3x lens to check which lens is getting activated. I noticed sometimes it uses 3x lens and few times 1x lens with 3x digital zoom.
I have also noticed that lens switch works perfectly fine in video and pro photo modes. Issue occurs only in normal photo mode.
Is anyone else facing this issue with their s22/plus phones?
Yes it mosly works in bright light. I have tried that already. But if it is less bright condition it automatically shifts to main camera (wide) and uses 3x digital zoom in it. Sometimes this happens in bright light also, but usually in dark scenes
