I got my Galaxy S23 (256GB) 4 days ago (I exchanged my iPhone 11) and have noticed a LOT of bugs from the camera app and camera from other 3rd party apps (like WhatsApp and Snapchat). And it is safe to say that I REGRET exchanging my 4 year old iPhone to get the latest Samsung flagship. It almost feels like the reviews and the reviewers were paid to advertise for the new S lineup.

There will always be difference of user interface and other things when you are shifting from one to OS to another

Try updating all softwares and check again

I am not saying you are wrong but still overall user interface will be very much different mostly if someone is shifting from iOS to Android specially

I understand what you're saying, and I apologize that I used the wrong terms. I meant the UI is fine, other than the shutter lag there isn't any issue within the UI.
What I meant was the image processing has been really buggy. Sometimes when I take a picture, my phone seems to forget to even process it. I am sure it is a software bug because in the camera preview the image looks sharp, color accurate and has details. But when I click the picture, the image comes out soft, very faded colors and has next to zero details.
I observed this in the default camera app and WhatsApp camera. Great preview images, really BAD output.

Also I forgot to mention, when taking selfies with the front camera with flash, I can see bright white light at the corners of the screen, and I can NOT seem to get rid of them.
And another issue is, when I take normal pictures of human subjects, under white light (say from an LED bulb) the image that comes out is really flat and half the times the colors are boosted and the other it's too dull and has no sharpness to it. And this issue is under the same condition, just multiple same shots.

I had bought S23 Ultra when it was launched, and honestly speaking I don't see any issues with UI or faced any bugs in camera app. Even I used S22 Ultra for one year and I could say that the camera UI is so smooth.

Getting hands on to new things always a challenging thing if you're not adaptive to change.(My personal view)

I apologize, I intended to say bugs with the image processing and not the camera UI.
Check the other comment for my reply, it has the issue that I face.

I agreed with you on this point that at some point of time the processing of image is a bit buggy or it will give different image then in preview.

I agreed as I have seen that iPhone's image processing is something exceptional and cannot deny the fact that Samsung is far behind in it.

In S23 Ultra that I'm using currently and S22 Ultra previously, ranks higher then other phones in series i.e. S22/S23/S22+/S23+ in terms of few scenario mainly Camera, don't make me feel that I'm falling behind. Still not matching to iPhone image processing speed.

Okay, thanks for the insight. I hope Samsung fixes the issue with upcoming updates to make the base S/S+ series on par with the base iPhone models.

Ahahahah maybe. It does seem far cry to expect good things from a smartphone company that is not Apple when it comes to reliability.
