Camera App Lag after one ui 6 on S22

The time it requires to switch modes is now horrible its just so unforgivable for a 2022 Flagship base. This happens to any mode especially when switching from photo to video mode and while switching from rear to front facing cam.

Quick update if anyone has this issue... just disable the shot suggestions from settings and try switching again the issue will be fixed. It seems like the shot suggestions feature is bugged after update

shot suggestions are by default OFF for 50M resolution, regardless the camera lags and heats up the phone crazy when using, infact I am observing significant degradation in quality of pictures now. I believe folks are Samsung don't care or have done this deliberately, in comparison to my Apple XR which still clicks same quality pictures and at times better than this expensive brick.

Camera app is a system app bro it cant be updated through galaxy store. Its updated through a system update. As i said the issue is now fixed by disabling shot suggestions from settings

Yes it is. Systems apps updates are given in galaxy store updates section. It is compulsory to update galaxy apps after os upgrade for better performance. When i received one ui 6 in my phone, i got update of camera app too in november 2023. I dont have screen shot so i show you old screen shot. Not compulsory but It is good if you format your phone after os upgrade for better performance too.

Oh okay.. but i didnt see camera app in galaxy store nor in the updates section

May be it will updated by samsung later in galaxy store or upcoming software update.
