Samsung already has bypass charging to protect battery cycles during gaming,but these feature should be enabled for all uses.With this, battery cycles could be saved, when we are at home and have access to a charger.
If ur battery will not degrade then how will samsung get the profit when u replace a new battery? It's a strategy and also by using bypass charging may be hardware can get affected if u use regularly. I have no idea but just a guess 🙌
Why hardware get affected? Its the same thing, whatever voltage the components of phone needs to run will be provided by the direct supply instead of battery
