Bought S23 ultra in CANADA, it's not supporting jio 5g.

Recently bought S23 ultra from Canada now moved back to India Hyderabad and airtel Sim supports 5g but jio Sim shows error as 5g incompatible device. How come airtel can provide 5g but leading network jio couldn't. Any possibility of getting 5g in jio Sim? Please suggest.

Jio 5g supports indian version only.

Simple fix is I have to port my jio Sim to airtel I guess thanks for responding

Yes. Jio has most probably whitelisted the phones for 5G services on the basis of model numbers. So it wont work until its in testing phase for 5G. Look at the device compatibility page once

Same error message bro. Testing phase in the sense jio is in Testing phase or samsung.

Thats not an error. Its a notice by Jio.
Testing phase of Jio5G. The welcome offer is the proof of it. Most probably it will be available for all phones once its commercially available out of testing phase.

Always buy smartphones from own country. Have you tried esim for 5G?
