Before you buy Galaxy book 4 Pro 360

Hi members, 

This is a post im making in order to create awareness about Samsung galaxy laptops in general. 

I own Samsung galaxy 23 ultra, followed by buds 2 Pro and watch 4 classic.
I thought of buying a laptop and everyone in my circle suggested to go with Macbook but i decided to go with galaxy book 4 pro 360 because of so called "eco system" and i got influenced by youtubers.

I completely regret my puchase now, if you can search in Google : Samsung galaxy book display broken without physical damage. You will come to know many things anyways. 

I bought the laptop 2 months ago, When i open my book 4 Pro 360, my display had slight crack in the bottom ( near to the hinge ), but i know that it wasn't been dropped or anything and i handle the product with atmost care, that's the reason why i searched in Google like that. 

I found many people have the same issue. 

I raised a service request, and Samsung service engineer came to my house (chennai) and analysed the product, he also agreed that there was no sign of physical damage. 

But i was shocked with his reply to this issue: 

This is not an issue only for my book 4 Pro 360, this occurred in their Samsung laptops itself and customers are raising the same to Samsung but since the display is cracked they consider it as physical damage policy and informing the customers that it won't be covered in warrenty. 

But the reason for this damage is completely due to overheating, he said when you use this laptop for 1-2hr it will be heating, and suddenly if you close the laptop the heat goes directly into the display which leads to crack.

This is completely due to their poor cooling system which made external damage to my laptop, even i haven't used my laptop without a desk.
The service engineer said : it won't be considered under warranty.

My kind request you to avoid purchasing Samsung and suggest you to consider other laptops.

(I have mailed Samsung to give me refund for this poorly designed machine, I'll wait for 2-3 days, if actions where not taken ill definitely file a complaint in consumer court in order to get justice)

You should raise issue on this problem, we buy their products trusting them and they fool us by betraying us for their business, you can file a case in the court if your problem is not solved, we keep trying to buy it by spending a lot of our hard-earned money so that we get good performance but after seeing such problems, we do not feel like buying it again.

I am encountering the same issue now. I jus bought a Galaxy Book 4 360 2 weeks back and after few days the edge of my display started coming out from the screen and also the hinges started becoming loose from the panel. I would like to know How your issue was sorted as Samsung rejected my issue and said I have to pay 25k to repair the so called Manufacturing Issue. It is such a sad thing to experience when you have bought a laptop for more than 1 Lakh and they are not even ready to support for an issue which has not happened because of the customer. **bleep** Customer Service from Samsung. I also use a S23 Ultra and Buds 2 Pro.

They offered 5k, as I don't want to spend even a single penny on this garbage I decided to use as it is.

Lesson learned: don't try something new like foldables, etc they are doing R&D on us and using us like a testing rat.

Need to raise this issue with consumer court in order to sort it out.

Seriously? They still didnt fix it for you? Is it also the same issue for you that one corner of the display is coming off from the screen and you are not able to fold or bend?
