I have been a samsung user for a decade

I started flagship use with s7 and till now almost 3 years my s7 battery performance never disappointed me

I can not say about recent s10 one coz it is just 2 weeks old now

Like even after 3 years life my s7 edge battery with high usage gives me more than 10 hrs usage and still 20% left ( i am not talking about SCREEN ON TIME )

( image attached )

My experience how i maintain the devic

Less third party apps
Always sleep section added with banking apps and some others
I do rearly charge 100% , actually i do disconnect the charger if my device battery charge level reaches 96%
Less themes , Skins etc
Always check fast charger output and cable conditions with proper reading device ( V or Amp meter )

Within every 6 months i do reset my android fuel gauges

Neither s7 edge , s9 plus nor S10 plus seems to disappoint me with its battery

Thanks

That is quite an insane battery life even after 3 years. Do you use AccuBattery and if yes, can you post your Battery Health? I have been using the phone since 2 years and my battery has degraded by 30% :( .
How do you 'reset' the battery gauge?
I get a SoT of about 3 or 4 hours and my standby drain is around 3% / hour. But yes, I use Samsung Health quite often with high accuracy GPS and my Gear Fit 2 Pro is connected 24x7. However, disconnecting it does not afford significant battery gain. Maybe I just need to replace the battery?

no accubattery or such things ..i do maintain everything from android fuel gauges reset after every six months , i dont use travel charger intead of it i do use IP30 standard 3.4 A universal voltage wall charger with V7/V8 cable

while using fast charger i do never charge it 100% . in case of regular charger based charge than only i do charge upto 100%.. IP30 3.4 universal voltage charger

Android fuel gauges can be reset dialing code *#0228# than click quick start . you device may screen locked , now unlock and press home key

this will initiate battery and power system calibration

now only thing to do left is discharge your battery upto 0% and put your phone on charge but phone should be switch off until fully charged

note after dialing *#0228# you can see your battery level block and voltage . if there is something wrong with battery block level and voltage ratio than your battery needs to be replaced

i dont know what others say but with all usage youtube , spotify etc still 10% power consumtion power up my device upto 35 to 50 minutes ( based on what app i am using )
health app or GPS alway on in my device with high accuracy even for health monitor i have Runkeeper which is a high battery usage consumer

sum up in short weekly average i still have 11 hrs average battery life with all use . ( excluding the high end games like asphalt etc )

can you please clarify. When you perform the battery fuel gauge reset using *#0228#, should the battery be at 100% or can it be at any %? E.g can do it at 100% or 40%.
