Hey! So if you're trying to turn on the Adaptive Battery option and it's telling you to "turn on Customization Service and give all permissions" — even though you already did — you're definitely not alone. Here's what you can try to fix it:

---

Step-by-Step Fix:

1. Manually Re-check the Customization Service Settings

Go to Settings > General management > Customization Service

Make sure it’s turned ON

Tap on it > Go into Privacy settings

Allow everything it asks for (especially "App usage", "Location", and "Device diagnostics")

2. Clear Cache of the Customization Service

Go to Settings > Apps

Tap the 3-dots (top right) > Show system apps

Search for Customization Service

Tap it > Storage > Clear cache

3. Do the same for Device Care

Search for Device Care in the Apps list

Clear cache and force stop it

4. Restart Your Phone

5. Then go back and try:

Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Adaptive battery → Turn it ON

---

If It Still Doesn't Work:

Log out and log back into your Samsung account under Settings > Accounts & backup > Samsung account

Make sure you're connected to the internet

Check for any software updates: Settings > Software update

Thanks for confirming — since you’ve already tried all the right steps and it's still showing the same error, let’s go a little deeper with some advanced (but safe) fixes.

---

🔧 Try These Additional Steps:

1. Reset Customization Service Completely

Sometimes permissions glitch even if they “look” allowed.

Go to: Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Customization Service

Tap Storage > Clear data (not just cache this time)

Tap Permissions > Turn off all, then turn them back on

Restart your phone

Go to: Settings > General Management > Customization Service
Make sure it’s ON and privacy permissions are re-enabled.

---

2. Sign Out & Re-Sign In Samsung Account (Fresh Sync)

Samsung account sync issues can block Customization Services silently.

Go to: Settings > Accounts & backup > Manage accounts > Samsung account

Tap it > Remove account

Restart phone

Re-sign in to your Samsung account from Settings

---

3. Try in Safe Mode

This helps identify if a third-party app is causing the block.

Hold Power button + Volume Down → Tap and hold Power off → Tap Safe Mode

Once you're in Safe Mode, try enabling Adaptive Battery again.

---

4. Report via Samsung Members App

If nothing works — this may be a bug or region-related server issue.

Open Samsung Members app

Go to Get Help > Error Reports

Describe your issue and attach screenshots if possible

They usually respond in 1–2 business days and can push backend fixes if needed.

Let me know after trying these — I’ll be here to help you out till it’s solved 💪

Need to report via the Samsung member app now. As I have tried all these steps! Can you please confirm can we turn on by adb or anything?

Great question — and yes, there might be a way to turn on Adaptive Battery via ADB, but there's an important catch:

⚠️ Before We Proceed:

Samsung ties the Adaptive Battery setting to the Customization Service, which is deeply linked to your Samsung account, region, and privacy permissions. So even if you force the toggle via ADB, it may not function correctly without Samsung’s backend allowing it.

Since you’ve tried all steps and even ADB might not bypass Samsung’s lock — reporting this via the Samsung Members app is the best and safest next move. They can push a fix specific to your device/account region.

Thanks for explaining — this happens sometimes when you’re using a Samsung phone imported from another country (like the USA) while living in a different region (like India or elsewhere). In such cases, your local Samsung Support often can’t access the backend settings for overseas devices.

Here’s how you can contact Samsung USA support even from another country 👇

---

Option 1: Samsung USA Website (Fastest Way)

1. Open this official site:

2. Click “Contact us” or scroll down and choose:

Live Chat

Text Support

Or call using a USA number (use Skype or VoIP if you're outside the US)

🕐 USA support hours are usually:
Mon–Fri: 8 AM – 12 AM EST
Sat–Sun: 9 AM – 11 PM EST

---

Option 2: Samsung Members App (Force USA Region)

> Note: This is a trick that may or may not work depending on app version.

1. Open Samsung Members app

2. Tap ≡ menu (bottom right) > Settings

3. Scroll down to “Country/Region” or “Profile info”

4. If it lets you change to USA — do that. It may ask you to log in again.

5. Once region is changed to USA, try submitting a new Error Report.

⚠️ If the region change is locked, this trick won’t work — then use the web method above.

---

Option 3: Samsung USA Support via Twitter (Very Responsive)

You can message @SamsungSupport on X (formerly Twitter):
https://twitter.com/SamsungSupport

Say this:

> "Hi, I’m using a US model Galaxy S24 Ultra from overseas. I’m unable to enable Adaptive Battery because the system keeps asking for Customization Service permissions. Local support couldn't help as it's a US model. Can you please guide me?"

Please take a note:
All permissions were given, only location permission needed to change to "Allow all the time" then it is working fine!
