Battery Protection - One UI 6.1

I am using S23 Ultra. 

With the recent upgrade to One UI 6.1, if we enable battery protection, Samsung has limited the battery charge limit to 80%, earlier it was 85%. 

Not sure if this 5% reduction is a good step as it is something that is making the difference between me getting through the day or having to charge before I wind up for the day. 

Anyone else feel the same.... Should Samsung give a choice between 80, 85 and 90%??

OP clearly stated the issue here. Many others (including myself) can clearly get and agree with it.

Help me understand the need here to share log, photos and videos for it?

I noticed the same problem after the 6.1 update. Android 14, One UI 6.1, Samsung A54.
