So I have been using the Galaxy S23 from past 5 months now. And I can clearly state that this phone was way too overrated, not only by Samsung, but also by the tech youtubers.
In my daily usage, it stands strong in all the aspects, the display is good, camera is pretty awesome, processing is good, the battery is okay. Its a very good phone for daily normal usage. Untill you start gaming on this phone. I am not a heavy gamer, but I play games on my phone casually, and it can't event do that. Whenever I play sudoku, it starts lagging. I am not even gonna rant about the COD gameplay experience on this phone.

There's no lack of potential in the processor as this phone packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, paired with 8Gb of RAM, the problem is the lack of optimizations of the OneUi. One of my friends owns a IQOO Neo 9 Pro which has the same processor, and in every way his phone beats the S23, and even costs 30% less.

So I just wanna ask Samsung that what the hell is problem with just their smartphones? Why the same processor is excelling out there in other phones but struggling to run basic games on a phone they launched at 70000Rs. (I got it in a sale at 38000)

For your Kind Information, Samsung create mobiles for day to day usage not for heavy gamers. I have the same phone since from the launch and I must say the variety of games I played on this like (Genshin Impact, The House of Da Vinci - 1,2,3, BGMI, Pokémon Unite etc.). So, I must say don't compare it from previously launched phones. If you still feel such hefty regret by purchasing the phone then exchange it from your friend. 🙏

Yes buddy I know that Samsung prioritizes the day to day usage and experience and I have clearly mentioned it. Making day to day usage phones does not mean that customers are expected to pay 70000rs for a phone just to use simple daily applications and do simple tasks, that is offered in 10000rs range too. If a smartphone is being sold for 70000rs, it should be able to do everything atleast smoothly, if not perfectly.
And you might be happy with the performance because you might have never used IQOO or Apple, try it once and you'll learn and grow.
Anyways thanks for suggesting me a way to get rid of it, though I didn't ask for it, or your opinion anywhere in my post.
God bless.

Well try alternate game performance management
And install game plugins
Disable auto manage performance
Worked for me
Also Samsung should tweak all these out of the box but they won't try these and it may fix

Yes buddy, this was the first thing I checked when I saw this flagship stuttering and lagging. But even after then it was not completely resolved. Yes it was better then before, there was improvements with plugins and reinstallation, but the problem still persists.
Anything else you think might work?
I am ready to give a try to solutions to fix this.

There is a game booster plus in Game plugins there you can adjust in game fps just set it max
Try Frame Booster if you want it increases overall fps
Alternate game performance management is crucial

If you bought the Galaxy S23 for gaming, you are definitely in the wrong place. Samsung never advertised S23 to be a gaming phone even if the processor is capable. There are limitations of what a small phone can do. Maybe use Google properly next time and check the reviews and feedbacks before jumping the ship.

Yes I am well aware of this, but I believe a 70k phone should be able to run basic sudoku game easily. Do you think its too much ?
