I bought s21fe in july 2023. The phone held up pretty good. But now it looks like its adhesive is starting to come off a little bit from one side of back panel. Not too much but enough for my finger nail to pry in. What should I do. If i have to repair it what's the cost and will the water resistant be as it was earlier. Help me, and i guess samsung did bad job at this adhesive cause I saw same problem with many s21 fe. Its just 1.5 years past now. My father is gonna get mad If he knows about it

Thats too much for sticking it. Did he stick new one? And was it water resistant after that?

Yes he applied new glue tape and sticked the panel...it was too much but would lead too the whole panel coming off if i kept that way..i didnt test the water resistance but it would obviously be because its the same glue which is applied during manufacturing of the product...just do it from authorized store..costly but peace of mind.

In Mumbai, they charged me around 650 just to reattach the existing back panel by applying glue. The positive aspect is that they conduct a vacuum test to ensure the phone retains its IP68 water resistance rating. However, Samsung did a poor job in my case, which I noticed later on—some small dirt particles got inside and settled near the camera lens, visible upon close inspection. Make sure to carefully check your device when you get it back after servicing.
