Dear fellow members,

I have been a big fan of Samsung and I am using a Samsung S22 Ultra as my primary phone. Recently, after updating to One UI 7, my phone started showing a vertical green line (check the attached image). Samsung is trying to avoid responsibility by saying this is not the fault of One UI 7; we can expect the same response to this post as well. Samsung does not provide any help if your device is older than three years, whereas other brands offer lifetime screen replacement free of cost.

My request to everyone is to please think carefully before investing a large amount in a Samsung phone. Their phones are not even surviving three years, and their promise of seven years of Android updates is a big joke.

MY ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED BY SAMSUNG!

PLEASE THINK BEFORE UPGRADING OR INVESTING LARGE AMOUNT IN SAMSUNG PHONES. CONSIDER ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS LIKE IPHONES, WHICH ARE MORE RELIABLE THAN SAMSUNG

Next time whenever update got

Go to samsung care and update mobile for free .
Need purchase bill copy.

They will inspect mobile for any damage if not then they update .any problem after they will look for same as problem arise infront of them.
This is not our fault

I was thinking of upgrading to the S25 Ultra, but after Samsung's unreasonable behavior, I will be switching to an iPhone.

I got free replacement for my s22 mobile display samsung care + executive helped i don't know about 3 years but my mobile was out of warranty it took 40 days to get positive reply try again

When you reported the green line issue to the service center, was it already over three years old?

Oh that's why, Samsung will replace the screen if it is not 3 years old even if your phone is not under warranty.
