I recently got my S21 FE and there was an update for OneUI 4.1. Once I installed that update, I've been getting this notification that says app update paused and it keeps popping up every few seconds and it's really annoying when using my phone.

I can't turn off the updates notification and clicking wait for Wifi or use data doesn't do anything at all. Additionally, I'm always connected to wifi or data so I don't know what the issue is.

I've tried the following:
1. restarting my phone
2. using different WiFi networks and using 4G
3. resetting network setting
4. setting the store network preferences to update over any network
5. cleared data and cache of the Galaxy Store
6. Reinstalling the apps and updates again.

None of these seem to work and customer service hasn't been much help either and it's a really annoying bug considering it keeps popping up every few seconds and it's not just a persistent notification.

Did anyone face this issue and did you find a solution for this? If not, what can I try?

You have to enable 'Show System Apps'.

I know. Delete the data for that app.

If it still keeps notifying for an update, use a firewall like Netguard to block internet access to this app and then delete it's data.

Deleting it's data seemed to work for now. The notification hasn't appeared in a few minutes. Thanks a lot!

Go to galaxy store settings and set auto update apps to never.
