Why samsung is not providing next OS update (Android 10/ Android Q/ One UI 2.0) in Samsung Galaxy S8?

Cheaper mobile of "A" & "M" series getting new OS update while this falgship phone is not even in the list?

This is not good as nobody should take these expensive phones...

s8 disqualify according to GOOGLE RULES as it fullfilled 2 OS updates

s8 is android 7.0 based device when launched so it is only eligible upto Android 9

no matter what device you have google says no major OS update would be provided to any device if it complete one of these

1. 2 major os update
2. 2 years of support life
3. special cases like google android license and some agencies certification such as wifi aliance etc against OS compatability

S8 and Note 8 of Samsung is a Flagship phone and those are really very good..... ........Samsung is now think about its "BUSINESS " not its "QUALITY".......I REALLY veryvsad to here this news.......all the new series of 'A' and "M" is bad ......they are given a battery with its typical value.......so it is worst....!

those devices restrictes because Google will not allow any OS update as per android policy .

matter closed . ask google why they restrict that way

samsung only can modify a certain points in Google policy on secuirty updates . No company is allowee to violate Google rules for Android OS update
