Galaxy SPlz check after performing a forced restart. (Press and hold the power button and volume down button together for 10-15 seconds till phone restarts and shows the Samsung logo.)

Galaxy SGoto Settings > Apps > Search "Health" to see "Device Health Services" App" > Storage > Clear Cache > Manage Storage > "Clear all data".
This will Clear all the data stored for the brightness adjustment and battery statistics.
Now turn OFF adaptive brightness and then perform the forced restart again.
Inform us your results. Goodluck.
PS: Before restart, Please make sure your device software is upto date and also, all the apps from both stores.
