There is an app which allows you to get adaptive display even if it isnt available on your phone. You need 2 apps - GALAXY MAX HZ and LADB. Google the first app and youl get the androidforum page. Just follow the instructions and youl be good to go.
Tip : While copy pasting the patch on LADB you need to delete or include the first word.
Theres also an option of displaying the hz always on the notification mode too!
